Regular maintenance of your bike will keep it running smoothly and prolong its life.
Super Elliotts Cycles has a fully equipped workshop to carry out all sorts of repairs and customer build requests.
The type of bike you ride and its usage will dictate the frequency of servicing, but it’s important to remember that regular maintenance is preferable to emergency repairs for you and your bike. Prevention is better than cure.
Our mechanics are all keen cyclists and receive regular training to ensure that their knowledge and skills are second to none.
First Free Service
Every bike sold at Super Elliotts Cycles is welcome to a free of charge service with in 90 days of purchase. During the first few weeks of riding, the brake and gear cables will stretch slightly as they bed in, and will sometimes need adjusting to help them run smoothly for the rest of the year.
All service prices are guides only. Bikes will need to be inspected to give a firm quote on service. Any extra tasks required will not be carried out unless customer has approved repairs.
Getting sized up for a new bike
Do I need a bike fitting if I’m not racing?
Comfort and performance go hand-in-hand. Racers need to be comfortable for maximum performance over long distances. Commuters and casual riders are more comfortable in an efficient position. The primary goal of a bicycle fitting is to find the most comfortable bike position to serve the rider’s performance goals. Whether you are aiming to race in the Tour Down Under, or enjoy a leisurely ride down to Glenelg, comfort is the key!
Do I get a free fitting when I buy a new bike from Super Elliotts?
A trained sales team member will find the right style and size of bike to fit your cycling needs. Basic adjustments like saddle height are included with every bike sold at Super Elliotts Cycles, but sometimes more detailed adjustment is needed. A complete fitting is a valuable, added service that devotes time, training and experience to fit the bike to the rider properly.
What if I need a different saddle, pedals, or other equipment installed?
Super Elliotts Cycles has many components in stock, and other options can be ordered based on the fitter’s recommendations. The Service department is also available if additional labour is needed. Our sales team can help fit anything from shoes, shorts, helmets or other equipment needs to be installed on your new bike.
